Patterns absolutely made my birthday celebrations in late August! Poppy is frankly, a total legend, helped me out with an area and put together a drinks package for me even though it’s not something the venue usually offers. Went absolutely over and above to help me and our large group out with luggage storage and just generally be super accommodating. The bar team were all lovely too and handled the crazy busy bar really well during the event. Even the security were lush and when we came back to get our bags later in the night the new team couldn’t have been more helpful either. Huge shout outs to the team at Patterns - can’t wait to come back!

For those who knew Brighton a few years again, Patterns took over the space at Audio. Situated to the left of the pier opposite the sea life centre, the bar offers beautiful views of Brighton Pier. We were lucky enough to nab a spot on the large terrace area, which is perfect for big groups. From 2pm DJ’s were playing, the sun was shining and I felt like I was on holiday! The bar inside is large and spacious and makes for a great dance floor! Fridays at Patterns is Foundations, a night focused on the local scene and UK sounds that explore everything from Grime to UK Hip Hop, Bassline to Jungle. Entry is usually £3/5. Saturdays at Patterns appeal to a wider market of sounds, with disco, house, techno & electronica being the predominant genres. Make sure you check out the 241 happy hour deals between 5-9pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays! What a winner.

It's dark. It's sweaty. It's claustrophobic. It's absolutely perfect for a night of music and meeting new people. The staff were great, the bar well stocked as far as I could tell, I was drinking orange juice and soda. I travelled from the opposite end of the country in Lancashire. I wasn't disappointed

What a great venue! DJ setup upstairs, live venue downstairs, private room at the back and a large outdoor front overlooking the pier and seafront. I came to see Elephant Hawk support The Jimi Hendrix Experience. Sound was great downstairs with interesting lighting. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Reasonable pricing on drinks. Fun night out, thanks Poppy and staff!

We came for the New Years Day disco and had a great time, really good vibes and atmosphere, cool decor and stress-free at all points. Would recommend!

Great venue, sound system and vibe. Sick music all night, DJs were all superb. I'd definitely go to another Essence of Chi night or something else if the line up was right.

Great gig, be aware that at concerts only 1 drink per person at a time because under 14s are allowed in. Security not great inside, there was a fight in the crowd for ages and they struggled to sort it.

We hired the ground floor and terrace area for our wedding reception. All I can say is that the staff, the venue, and the food was fantastic! We had an amazing wedding celebration at this venue and thanks to Gem, Ruby, and all the staff for making our day a memorable one xxx
